1. What unusual (for a submarine) coin-operated entertainment device was installed on an earlier SSN? ANS: A coin-operated juke box.
2. What is the name of the SSN referenced in question 1.? ANS: USS Nautilus (SSN-571).
3. There is a published photo of a sailor using the device. What is the name of the publication and what year was the photo taken? ANS: Life Magazine (1956). (note: Nautilus had been commissioned 30 Sept 1954).
4. Who was the photographer? ANS: The late photographer was Henry G. "Hank" Walker.
