Background

Related information, photos and links for questions are found at original posting.

Questions of the Week with ANSWERS

1 -  Are SEALS, Green Berets, and other Special Operation Forces already well-trained in unconventioinal warfare? YES or NO?  ANS:  YES.   Ref. "INTRODUCTION TO SPECIAL OPERATIONS",  CHAPTER 1,  SOF Reference Manual (Version 2.1 Academic Year 99/00), Army Command and General Staff College
Unconventional Warfare (UW) - UW includes guerrilla warfare, subversion, sabotage, intelligence activities, evasion and escape, and other activities of a low visibility, covert, or clandestine nature. When UW is conducted independently during conflict or war, its primary focus is on political and psychological objectives. When UW operations support conventional military operations, the focus shifts to primarily military objectives.
2 - "Realistic Military Training" for allegedly National Security Strategy is NOT defined as realistic  training of our Special Operation Forces for anything except obtaining legal permissions and sundry approvals to operate militarily in domestic domains (civilian areas outside of federal property).  TRUE or FALSE?  ANS: TRUE, according to stated PURPOSE
per US ARMY SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND "JADE HELM 15" slide 2 (Answer #3).

3 - The squirrelly language in the slides, though legally accurate, certainly appears to disguise the primary purpose of JADE HELM 15, which is what? ANS:
"PURPOSE - The Commander of United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) seeks a written invitation and approval from local officials to conduct Realistic Military Training (RMT) within their jurisdictions for joint military exercise JADE HELM 15 (JH 15)"
Compare the above PURPOSE to recent declaration (below) and ask yourselves how training to obtain domestic jurisdictional permissions constitues realistic military training "to support potential missions anywhere in the world":
“This exercise is routine training to maintain a high level of readiness for Army Special Operations Forces because they must be ready to support potential missions anywhere in the world on a moment’s notice.” Army Lt. Col. Mark Lastoria, a USASOC spokesman; March 21, 2015 Stars AND Stripes, Army Special Operations Command pushes back against alarmist claims about upcoming exercise
4 - When and if necessary local and county jurisdictional permissions and approvals sought by anonymous interagency (IA) officials are obtained, what could possibly make such permissions perpetual (extending well beyond their specified July 15th to September 15, 2015 effectivity dates)?  ANS: A favorable decision by a single federal judge.

5 - Assuming the necessary permissions are obtained and made perpetual in target state locales, how difficult will it be to make permanent and broaden such permissions to apply across the enire United States?
ANS:  Not very, if a favorable decision by a single federal judge prevails in the first states affected, ikt becomes a legal precedent for a favorable follow-up interpretation by another federal judge to prevail.

Submarines are always silentrange.
