Journalist Asks: IS THE ICE AGE HERE?

Former Russian correspondent Michael Hammerschlag writes political commentary. His recent post asks IS THE ICE AGE HERE? He is commended for his openmindedness, since the book (Ice : The Nature, the History, and the Uses of an Astonishing Substance) that starts his article off states "Global warming, it seems, is making inroads in much of the world's ice. Artic sea ice is thinning, permafrost in the ground is thawing, glaciers are retreating."

As an avid reader of scientific articles on the Ice Age, I consider the current Global Warming crisis a product of political manufacture. Yes, another Ice Age will eventually come, ending the Holocene warm period begun more than 10,000 years ago. There will be plenty of notice, however, with extreme cold and hot weather transients for hundreds of years beforehand.
(we have not seen the transients yet, so don't worry. World governments can not stop it, and it is natural -not caused by ozone depletion, which raises skin cancer incidence).
