Answers to question 4 and 5 are incorrect.

Question 4: During World War II, there were 36 boats awarded the PUC 11 for single patrols and 25 for multiple patrols (but only one award given).

Question 5: During the Cold War era, there were 16 boats awarded the PUC, all for single patrols.

The USS Parche SSN-683 was awarded 9 of the 16 PUC awards, along with 10 NUC and 13 Navy E, became the most decorated ship in US Navy history.
