Well, you were correct up to about 8:30 pm. Haha.
Republican corruption, real or imagined, led to their downfall.
Hopefully they will learn from this by the next election or we will be looking at Pres. H. Clinton.
old gary, apparently conduct of the war had more to do with the backlash than the corruption, real or imagined.
However, I made three predictions and the first one is still possible.
I saw a graphic on Fox News that showed responses to the question:
What was the key factor in deciding who you voted for? (or something close to that)
42% Corruption
38% Iraq War
Blah
Blah
Blah
Etc.
I saw a Missouri guy claiming to be Republican voter saying he had switched to Dems this time due to "gasoline prices and higher taxes." !??!#$@?*!!!
The Missouri guy is most probably a die-hard Democrat just learning the finer points of bloviating. Haha.
