Ahhhh...Sorry...I think? Having been in Law Enforcement all those years I've met and spared with literally hundreds of lawyers, in court, out of court, in court house hallways, and in private offices, you get the picture, and I found most were ...well, you know, jerks(I'm being nice), even some of the DA's were, HOWEVER, having said that, I have several good lawyer friends I have made over the years that showed me their integrity, honesty and fortitude and I have the highest respect and admiration for them.
Cookie, definitely agree with you on the integrity, honesty and fortitude of many of them.
To remind readers, my problem with the legal profession is the inordinate sway it maintains and exercises over government. This is due to their monopoly, their de facto occupation of seats on the Supreme Court (another monopoly), and the disproportionate numbers in which we elect lawyers making careers of politics to public offices with increasing pensions and rewards created.
If we had more non-lawyers in office we would probably have better representation of the public at large, and more commmon sense in congressional legislation.
