Islamic Republic's (IRAN's) Latest "Smart" Submarine

In August 2008 we had published Juan Caruso's cartoon (above) in response to this absurd claim: 'Smart' submarine boosts military, says Tehran. Apparently, someone in the Islamic Republic of Iran reads agrees with M.E.'s cartoonist, Juan Caruso.

On January 22, 2012 comes word that top admiralty of the Islamic Republic may have wisely considered Caruso's mockery and not only taken his suggestion under advisement, but actually produced prototypes of a ‘Smart’ Remote-Controlled Submarine. Can any submariner read all 3 paragraphs from Eurasia Review (link) without chuckling?
"The 3-Kg Phoenix is a mono-propelled propulsion system that has a fin maneuverability system, and can “can carry out surveillance for one meter,” according to ISNA."

Must be rubber-band propelled.

Submarines are always silent and strange.
