Kim Jong Un's Next Purge for the BLBM (Barge Launched Strategic Missile)
- July 2014 - "Kim Jong-Un is currently trying to get China to take down a satirical video that shows the dictator dancing, running, and being hit by a rocket, in addition to being pranked by "President Obama" several times. Kim Jong-un is even depicted holding hands with Osama Bin Laden. The clip "seriously compromises Kim's dignity and authority," North Korean officials told The Chosun Ilbo."
- April 2015 - "According to intelligence gathered by South Korean spies and shared with lawmakers in Seoul, Hyon was charged the next day with treason and later gruesomely executed by anti-aircraft gun fire. If confirmed, it would be the latest in a string of purges under North Korean leader Kim Jong Un."
Next Fury: May 2015
Then, Adm. James Winnefeld, vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told a Washington think tank on Tuesday that the North Koreans "have not gotten as far as their clever video editors and spinmeisters [color emphasis by M.E.] would have us believe."
The North Korean SLBM missile was fired from a barge, a US expert says
WASHINGTON, May 12 (Yonhap) - North Korea would have made the recent test firing of a ballistic missile from a submarine submerged barge and not a submarine as the communist country has been claimed, said Tuesday Joseph Bermudez, a US expert on North Korean military matters.
...photos of the launch were “strongly modified“, including reflections of the missile exhaust flame in the water which did not line up with the missile itself. source
"If you look at the photos provided by the KCNA, some do not stick well," Bermudez remarked, referring to the Central Agency of North Korean press (KCNA).
"But the image, there is no visible flame. There is only smoke, water and steam, "he has observed. "This suggests that some of the images that were presented to the public suffered Photoshop retouching or have been manipulated so as to give them a different impression."
P R E D I C T I O N of the M O N T H
Obviously Kim Jong Un cannot excuse another purge by admission of his regime's flawed deceit in the DPRK's SLBM capability. However, if he accuses the careless propaganda minister of sleeping, well there is already a stern precedent for handling inattentiveness to duty. The only questions now are the identity of the scapegoat, the method of execution (bullet, is our guess), and how long before the world learns of the purge.
Submarines are always silent and strange.
